Crosson

Crosson

Designed at Owen Jones & Partners with Lisa Oliver and Kylie LaCour under the direction of Josh Schield and Rusty Grim.

Crosson, an aeroscape engineering-inspired ski company located in Washington, came to us for a new brand identity. We kept in mind the brand’s tradition of precision and high-end materials while also capturing the playfulness of the modern rider. The visual brand was inspired by the belief that performance means freedom, and freedom means expression. Crosson’s high quality gear gives the rider confidence and the ability to leave their mark on the mountain. With these ideas in mind the team and I built them a brand from the bottom up including logos, typography, illustration style, photography direction, and designs for their brand new products.

Carbon Cloud Series

For Crosson’s new Carbon Fiber 2.0 design we wanted to create something that empowered athletes to leave their signature on the mountain. The Cloud Series depicts different cloud formations, and represents the freedom that’s felt under the big sky on the ski day.

Dissenter Series

The Dissenter Series combines top tier ski manufacturing with new ideas in shape. We designed a series of graphics that would reflect that evolution of design and be appealing to the new generation of skiers.
